There is a great quote I use from a documentary about Kenyan running, in it David Rudisha (1m 40 800m) in it he says ‘when we were young we had good feeling with the ground’. That is such a powerful expression. There is an emotional connection, that word ‘good’ I think also means quality of feeling, lightness and touch. If it feels good, you want to do more:) Below are some little drills to help develop good feeling with the ground.
