Freedom To Run - Ease, Efficiency, Speed

Jon Burdon, Chi Running and Chi Walking instructor based in England and Wales

Chi Running Follow Up

Workshops run from 10am and typically finish around 4pm (although I also run some half day / evening courses.) There will be a break for a light lunch (included in the workshop price) during which we will have an opportunity to gain feedback from the morning session.

These courses are suitable for those who have attended a 'Building The Foundations' workshop with myself or another instructor. We will revise the fundamentals that you were introduced to so far, and also carry out a more detailed video review of your chi running technique to see how you have been getting on. Some Follow Up workshops will be on a specific theme eg. hill technique. I will also tailor the day to the individuals who are attending. Typical topics covered might include:

  • Running at different speeds
  • Body looseners and how to transition in and out of running
  • Transition between speeds
  • Running light - beach running / sandpit analysis
  • Breathing techniques
  • Hill technique - for running up and down hills of different gradients
  • Off road running techniques
  • How to train as a Chi Runner - developing your running programme
