Chi Running Explained...

Chi Running is a training technique for running which emphasises energy efficiency and injury prevention. It is a natural, minimal, relaxed approach to running that emphasises the mind body link. It develops use of the core muscles and shifts emphasis away from the lower legs. Many people experience a revolution in their running when they adopt the Chi Running method. Chi Running was developed by Danny Dreyer, ultra marathon runner, who combined key principles from Tai Chi with the sport of running. Hence the word 'Chi!' Interested in making your runner easier and reducing your risk of injury? Whether your aim is to begin running for the first time, transition to a more natural running style, or compete in a race of any distance, come and explore how Chi Running can help you.

I live in the Holme Valley, near Huddersfield and on the very northern edge of the Peak District National Park. Workshops are in venues easily accessible from:

Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Liverpool, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, Barnsley, Cumbria, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and North Wales.
